Lucy is the new illustrator of Bristol 24/7’s Breakfast With Bristol 24/7 interviews, which have made a return to print with the publication of their new quarterly magazine.


Container Magazine
Lucy was commissioned by Container Magazine to create artworks to go alongside their commissioned writings and podcasts.


“Shouldn’t have to shout to be heard” Campaign
Lucy was commissioned by The Span Project, University of Bristol and Barton Hill Wellspring Settlement to create artwork from researchers findings. The campaign aims to promote the experiences of families most affected by the pandemic and the cost of living crisis. Throughout the Covid 19 lockdowns, conversations with parents based in Bristol, made it very clear that the challenges of the pandemic were being felt particularly acutely by families living with disability, those on low income, those from minority communities, as well as single parents and new mothers. The project was designed to offer a platform in the public realm for parents’ voices.
The project saw Lucy create 6 billboards and 22 posters around Bristol with the campaign slogan and her original artwork, inspired by the research findings.











Nanette Hayes Series
Lucy was commissioned by John Murray Press and Baskerville to create three stylish, bold, colourful book covers for the Nanette Hayes Trilogy series. “Originally published in the 1990’s, this stylish piece of noir is an original and page turning read starring an unforgettable heroine”.



Rockett St George
Lucy was selected as a winner Rockett St George’s #ChangeAGirlsLife campaign, in partnership with The Prince’s Trust, that recognises and addresses the challenges that young women in the UK face today.
Collective Joy by Lucy J Turner is a beautiful digital art piece that focuses on the the representation of black bodies and black women. Lucy’s artwork emphasises how black women are often left out of common narratives.
91 Ways to Build a Global City
Lucy was commissioned by 91 Ways, a community-focused social enterprise, to create three original designs to be made into merchandise to raise money for the organisation.
BAM Store + Space
Lucy was commissioned by BAM Store + Space for the latest in a series of artist collaborations. She created an A4 riso print featuring a beautiful Black figure and vases full of colourful blooms
This beautiful image is a celebration of Black women and real bodies.
Rising Arts Agency- #WhoseFuture
In true Rising style, the #WhoseFuture campaign used young people’s outstanding creative work to amplify their voices across Bristol, inviting the public to pay attention to what they have to say. This year’s theme is Care & Wellbeing, with emphasis on how social justice, economic equity and community play a role in our wellness. Lucy created two pieces of work around the themes, entitled “History is Black” and “Eye 2021”.
Watershed- “Undershed” Bar
Lucy was commissioned by Watershed, with support from Arts Council England, to create a series of stunning illustrations and a poem called Heart of Lightness, to bring the outdoor space to life as part of the planned opening of Undershed, our new outdoor bar by the Harbourside. The work celebrates people, togetherness and community - perfect themes for Bristol as we come out of this lockdown period.

Black Minds Matter
Lucy created artwork for Black Minds Matter, a mental health charity connecting Black individuals and families with free mental health services.
Grant + Blossom
Lucy worked with Grant + Blossom to create a limited edition candle. It was a limited edition candle with £5 from the sale of each candle will go to Stop Hate UK.
